Step into the world of espresso. In this interactive class, you’ll explore where coffee comes from, how to brew with balance, and the craft of steaming milk to perfection. You’ll leave with the skills — and the touch — to make every cup feel like it came from your favorite café. Through guided, hands-on instruction, students will explore every element of espresso preparation — from grind calibration and dose control to extraction timing and milk texturing. You’ll learn to identify key variables that affect taste and quality, developing the precision and awareness needed to produce consistent results in any café environment. Barista 101 is the perfect foundation for anyone beginning a career in coffee or looking to strengthen their fundamentals. Each session combines technical skill-building with sensory understanding, helping you connect theory to practice. By the end of the course, you’ll not only know how to make great coffee, but why each step matters.
